How to play Overwatch for free on Nintendo Switch Easily

 

Nintendo Switch online subscribers will be able to play Overwatch free for a week, This event is initiated for the celebration of Overwatch one-year anniversary on the Nintendo's hybrid console.

The game trial lasts from Tuesday, Oct. 13 at 2 p.m. ET until Wednesday, Oct. 21 at 2:59 p.m. ET. The free event is not going to include the extra content on the game such as: Overwatch Legendary Edition which has collection of 15 special skins. There are words going around that the Overwatch had some performance issues on Nintendo Switch, but these issues are to be resolved from the side Nintendo's team.

You will be able to download the game from the Nintendo eShop for free once the free trial begins next week.

Nintendo is trying to attract new players to their console form which they will be able to experience the fun of the handheld portable version of the console.

How to play Overwatch for free on Nintendo Switch:

• Go to the Nintendo eShop on your Switch.
• Sign up for the 7-day free trial of Switch Online (if you don’t have a subscription already).
• Download Overwatch for free (starting Oct 13 to Oct 20.).
• Remember to cancel your subscription – if you don’t want to pay – before the 7-day trial is up.

Nintendo's Twitter handle from America also tweeted about the news of overwatch. There is a slight chance that Nintendo Switch is not that powerful of a machine and may not be able to run the game on its full potential. Aside of the news the game Overwatch has drastically lost its popularity from the year 2016-2018 but Overwatch is still a good game.

From the official Tweet from the Nintendo's team it is confirmed that Overwatch will be free to play for a week from October 13- October 20 for the online Nintendo Subscribers on the eShop.

Overwatch launched on Nintendo Switch on Oct. 15, 2019. Two weeks later, Blizzard announced Overwatch 2 was in development.

The new game will feature four-player story-based missions to help advance the lore and narrative of the series, which so far has been delivered through cinematic and other non-interactive media. Overwatch 2 does not yet have a launch date or window.

In the past Blizzard has made a lot of free trial for their most famous online shooter game, and it is certain that they will do more of it.
